Shereen and Tarek married at Villa Giona in the picturesque Valpolicella area, near Verona and Lake Garda.
The early 1500’s villa is named for its first owners, the Giona family and features an elegant loggia, frescoed interiors and Romantic-style parklands. The couple stayed and prepared for their special day in the villa’s luxurious suites.
Shereen and Tarek married under a chiffon draped pergola on the villa’s lush lawns. Afterwards, guests congratulated the bride and groom with hugs and kisses.
While guests enjoyed aperitifs, Shereen and Tarek slipped away for photographs. They strolled through the parklands together before rejoining their guests for the wedding banquet.
The newlyweds and their guests dined in the villa’s charming courtyard as the sun set and atmospheric lights lit their celebrations.
Later, Shereen and Tarek cut their wedding cake before the sky lit up with fabulous fireworks. Then, Shereen, Tarek and their guests floated tiny lanterns – and rubber ducks – in the courtyard’s lovely fountain.
Then guests transferred to the villa’s graceful frescoed salons for the after-party. The bride and groom performed their first dance before being joined on the dance floor by their families and friends.
