Stacey and Chris celebrated their wedding on a bright and breezy September day in Ravello.
Stacey, accompanied by her family members and friends, prepared for her wedding day at the Palazzo Avino, a luxurious 5-star hotel and former private villa while Chris met up with his family and friends at the Belmond Hotel Caruso, for a pre-wedding toast.
The couple’s wedding mass was celebrated by an English-speaking priest at the Santa Maria a Gradillo – an elegantly simple 11th-Century church in the heart of Ravello.
After the ceremony, and group photographs in front of the church, the couple and their guests walked through the characteristic streets of Ravello to the Piazza Duomo where they celebrated with aperitifs at the Caffè Calce.
While guests socialised and soaked up the wonderful local atmosphere, Stacey and Chris visited some of the town’s prettiest spots for bride and groom photographs before rejoining their nearest and dearest for the walk up to the Belmond Hotel Caruso for their wedding reception.
The Belmond Hotel Caruso is a stunning 5-star hotel and former 11th-Century palace offering breathtaking Amalfi Coast views. Pre-dinner aperitifs were held in the hotel’s Wagner Gardens, lush green, flower filled terraced gardens shaded by hanging vines and olive trees.
While guests were offered delicious delicacies and a selection of cocktails created by the Caruso’s barman extraordinaire, Stacey and Chris took some moments alone together to enjoy the hotel’s various ambiences, including the reknowned Infinity Pool with its spectacular setting, seemingly hovering between the mountains, sky and sea.
The elegant candle-lit wedding banquet was also celebrated in the Wagner Gardens, against the stunning panorama of the Amalfi Coast. Following the cutting of the elegant white tiered wedding cake the evening, Stacey, Chris and their loved ones laughed, chatted and celebrated as evening turned to night in the Hotel Caruso’s enchanting and atmospheric setting.
