Jacinta & Faisal were married in the enchanting Amalfi Coast town of Positano, in southern Italy.
The couple’s intimate wedding was celebrated at the Hotel Marincanto, which sits on a cliff above the centre of town and boasts spectacular panoramas, stylish and comfortable interiors in traditional local style, pretty flower-filled terraces and balconies and a welcoming family atmosphere.
Jacinta & Faisal exchanged their wedding promises in a symbolic handfasting ceremony where different coloured ribbons, representing the vows a couple make to each other, are tied around the bride and groom’s hands to represent their symbolic and spiritual joining.
Jacinta & Faisal’s ceremony was witnessed by their closest family members and friends on the Hotel Marincanto’s wedding balcony, which offers stunning panoramic views of Positano town, the surrounding mountains and the crystal waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The ceremony was accompanied by the romantic music of a violin soloist.
After the ceremony Jacinta & Faisal travelled to a panoramic look-out point close to Positano for romantic photographs together before returning to Positano and strolling through the town’s charming streets as evening fell.
The couple then joined their guests at Rada (ex Le Terrazze) restaurant on Positano’s main beach for the wedding reception and cake-cutting on the restaurant’s Praiano Terrace.
Jacinta & Fasial performed their first dance in Music on the Rocks, Rada’s atmospheric night club cut into the mountainside, which sits below the main restaurant.
