Kelsey and Ian said ‘I do’ in the picture-perfect setting of Positano, on the Amalfi Coast. The couple and their guests stayed at the friendly, boutique Hotel Bougainville in the centre of Positano where a fun morning was spent primping and preparing amidst anticipation, laughter and prosecco toasts.
Kelsey and Ian were married on the sea-view wedding terrace of the Hotel Marincanto offering impressive mountainscapes and spectacular views of the enchanting town of Positano. The couple’s sublime symbolic wedding ceremony was designed and celebrated by two of their closest friends and included the participation of family members, lots of smiles and many happy tears.
Guests were then invited to the charming setting of the hotel’s Villa Incanto – an inviting Pompeian-red coloured villa decorated with lemon trees, trailing bougainville and boasting an elegant tiled terrace offering views across the sea, towards Positano and Praiano – for post-ceremony aperitifs.
After a celebratory champagne toast, while guests enjoyed the array of nibbles and drank in the stunning views and atmosphere, Kelsey and Ian spent a little time capturing romantic photographs alone together around the streets of Positano.
Kelsey and Ian rejoined their guests for the trip to the nearby mountain hamlet of Montepertuso and the charming and characteristic family-run restaurant ‘La Tagliata’, the setting for the couple’s wedding reception.
Guests were served the most delicious selection of finger foods created using the freshest local ingredients grown in the restaurant’s extensive tiered gardens before moving to one of the restaurant’s fabulous, atmospheric terraces where dinner was served amidst emotional speeches, laughter, fun, and delightful dining.
