Carly and Ed were married on a May afternoon in the town of Ravello.
The charming couple were married in a civil wedding ceremony in the town hall’s beautiful Belvedere Principessa di Piemonte gardens with their breathtaking coastal views.
Carly and Ed’s wedding guests included one very special guest of honour, their very dapperly-attired pet pup.
After their very emotional ceremony, Carly, Ed captured photographs alone together around Ravello before joining their guests at the incredibly elegant Hotel Palumbo for the wedding reception.
The Hotel Palumbo is a boutique hotel in the centre of Ravello, housed in a historic building which features elements of the original 12th Century structure, the Palazzo Confalone. The refined, intimate hotel features graceful halls feature classical columns and mosaic-tiled floors, decorated with elegant furniture and antiques. The lush, green Mediterranean gardens boats elaborate pergolas, climbing plants and ancient lemon and olive trees.
Carly, Ed and their guests enjoyed delicious aperitifs in the hotel’s frescoed halls and on the panoramic terrace overlooking the picturesque landscape.
The main wedding banquet was served in the gardens under the hotel’s 17th Century colonnade framing breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast.
After dinner and a selection of wonderful laughter and tear-inducing speeches, Carly and Ed cut their tiered wedding cake in the gardens before escorting their guests back indoors, to the Hotel Palumbo’s frescoed halls.
The couple performed their first dance as a married couple before being joined on the dancefloor by their guests.
Carly and Ed’s elegant yet fun wedding day was perfectly planner by Federica Nascimben of The Italian Wedding Event.
