Jade and Luciano celebrated their wedding day in style, in the mountaintop village of Ravello on the Amalfi Coast.
Luciano and his groomsmen got ready at the Villa Scarpariello Relais, a converted watchtower, in Marmorata di Ravello, while Jade and her attendants prepared for the day’s events at the Hotel Palumbo in the centre of Ravello.
The Hotel Palumbo is an elegant and appealing hotel with a very rich history. Housed within a Medieval Palace, dating back to the 12th Century, the hotel retains elements of the original medieval structure – Palazzo Confalone – and features ancient marble columns, mosaic-tile floors, and museum-quality antiques.
Before leaving for the ceremony, Jade’s bridesmaids took the opportunity to try on the most wonderful animal face masks while posing for photographs with the stunning bride.
Jade and Luciano were married in a religious wedding ceremony in the elegantly simple Santa Maria a Gradillo church close to Ravello’s main square, Piazza Duomo. After the ceremony, the couple exited the church to be showered with rice and flower petals by their guests.
Jade and Luciao wandered through ravello’s pretty streets and gardens, capturing photographs of the two of them before joining their guests at the Hotel Palumbo for the wedding reception. The reception dinner was served in the hotel’s pretty, verdant garden on a pergola’ed terrace suspended above the Amalfi coastline far below and offering spectacular sea and mountain views.
After the cutting of Jade and Luciano’s extravagant wedding cake, guests moved to the Hotel palumbo’s frescoed halls for the post-dinner dancing, opened by in perfect style by Jade and Luciano with the first dance as a married couple.
The guests then joined the newlyweds on the dancefloor to dance the night away!
jade and Luciano’s wedding was perfectly planned and primped by Angela and Rosaria at Ravello Events, Ravello and Amalfi Coast wedding planning specialists.
