Elizabeth & John were married in Sorrento.
Elizabeth arrived by a traditional horse and carriage for the couple’s wedding ceremony in the pretty and idyllic 14th Century San Francesco Cloister in the centre of Sorrento.
After the wedding ceremony, Elizabeth & John visited some of Sorrento’s prettiest spots before taking a horse and carriage ride to their wedding reception venue, the Villa Antiche Mura, which sits elegantly on a cliff edge, overlooking the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, just outside of the centre of Sorrento.
Elizabeth, John and their guests enjoyed aperitifs on the lower of the Villa’s two sea-view terraces, before dining on delicious local delicacies on the upper terrace as the sun set spectacularly across the sea.
After cutting their wedding cake, the couple performed their first dance, against the atmospheric and very romantic setting of the Villa’s fairylight and lantern filled trees as their guests looked on, before joining them on the dance floor.
