Deborah, from New Zealand, and Andrew, from the United States, were married in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in Tuscany. The couple celebrated their wedding entirely at the Castello Di Gabbiano, a 14th Century castle in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, just a short distance from Florence.
The Castello Di Gabbiano is a working farm, set in 100 hectares of olive groves and vineyards, with a tower dating back to the 12th Century that dominates the Gabbiano’s main terrace and courtyard where Deborah & Andrew’s symbolic ceremony was celebrated.
After the ceremony, while guests enjoyed aperitifs on a panoramic terrace, Deborah & Andrew wandered around Gabbiano’s lush and enchanting grounds for romantic photographs of the two of them alone together. The couple then rejoined their guests for dinner in the main dining room.
The cake cutting and champagne toast was hosted in Gabbiano’s pretty atrium before guests returned to the main dining room for post-dinner dancing and to the castello’s gardens to chat, relax and enjoy the mild October-evening air.
