Elena & Alexey were married at the Borgo di Castlevecchio in Tuscany. The Borgo di Castelvecchio is a tiny Medieval village, made up of ancient, stone farmhouses that have been carefully restored to peserve the original architecture and materials. The main villa, set in a large Italian-style garden, dates back to the 11th century.
Elena & Alexey’s symbolic wedding ceremony was held on the Borgo’s panoramic terrace boasting breathtaking views across the Siena countryside. The terrace was decorated with pretty and vibrant floral arrangements. Elena was attended by 9 young flower girls including her daughter, while the bride’s son was the couple’s ring-bearer.
After the ceremony, in spite of the occasional April showers, while guests enjoyed aperitifs and canapès, Elena & Alexey captured photographs with the flower-filled gardens, charming structures and stunning views of the Borgo.
The main wedding banquet, cake cutting and first dance were hosted in large marquees on the Borgo’s main square as the light faded across the beautiful Tuscan hills.
After the first dance, the children at the wedding performed a mini-concedrt to the delight of the adult guests and Elena & Alexey in particular before the couple and their guests danced the night away.
