Grace and Adrian celebrated their Paestum wedding day in pretty Capaccio Paestum, on the Cilento coast in southern Italy.
Capaccio Paestum blends the lush, hillside town of Capaccio with the historic seaside hamlet of Paestum. Once an ancient Greek city, Paestum is renowned for its extensive beach, buffalo mozzarella farms and majestic Greek temple ruins.
The Villa Andrea, the setting for Grace and Adrian’s Paestum wedding, nestles in the verdant countryside, amid the rolling hills. The elegant villa sits in extensive, atmospheric, Italian-style terraced gardens.
While the groom prepared for the wedding day in nearby Santa Maria di Castellabate, the bride and her attendants got ready in one of the villa’s beautiful suites. Then, the groom travelled to the villa with couple’s guests, ready for the day of celebrations.
Grace and Adrian married in a civil wedding ceremony in the gardens of the villa, surrounded by the perfume, sights and sounds of natural beauty. Guests greeted the newlyweds with applause and a sprinkling of confetti and streamers, before hugs and kisses of congratulation.
Then, while guests enjoyed post-ceremony aperitifs, the bride and groom toured the villa’s interiors, gardens and grounds for photographs. Later, they rejoined their guests to enjoy the drinks and delicacies.
The bride, groom and guests enjoyed dinner, served in the villa’s elegant dinning hall, followed by the cutting of the wedding cake. Then, Grace and Adrian performed their first dance to open the wedding after-party celebrations.
