Claudine and James said ‘I do’ this summer, in Sorrento. Bride Claudine dressed for the wedding in the bridal suite of Villa Silvana, a private event villa nestled in pretty gardens, in the centre of Sorrento. Before dressing, Claudine opened a lovely letter and accompanying wedding gift from her future husband. Then, assisted by her bridesmaids, she put on her delicate lace adorned wedding dress.
Groom James prepared with his groomsmen then shared a pre-wedding beer with them before heading to the ceremony venue. Claudine travelled to the ceremony in style, in a cute, white, convertible vintage VW Beetle. Claudine’s very proud father accompanied her on the journey to the ceremony.The couple exchanged vows and rings in Sorrento’s charming Cloister of Saint Francis, admist the colourful flowers surrounding the Cloister’s ancient arches.
Claudine and James exited the Cloister as husband and wife and were scattered with confetti petals by their guests. The newlyweds then left their guests and strolled through the streets of Sorrento for photographs. Among the town’s charming spots, they visited the Sedil Dominova, a historic structure decorated with beautiful frescoes. They also wandered along Sorrento’s cobbled streets before joining their guests for the wedding reception.
Claudine and James held their wedding reception at Villa Silvana. The wedding party sampled welcome aperitifs in the villa’s verdant gardens before the main wedding banquet. Claudine, James and their guests enjoyed an elegant gala dinner on one of the villa’s lovely seaview terraces.
Claudine and James slipped away for a few moments to capture some stunning photographs on the rooftop terrace of the bridal suite as the sun set over Sorrento.After dinner, Claudine and James cut their wedding cake before sharing their first dance. Afterward, guests took to the dancefloor to enjoy the music of a DJ and live sax .
