Amanda and Richard celebrated their intimate Amalfi coast wedding day in Ravello and Amalfi.

The couple got ready at the idyllic Hotel Villa Cimbrone, nestled at the top of the mountaintop village of Ravello. Later, while groom Richard waited at the ceremony setting, the bride made her way through the town’s cobbled streets.

The bride was accompanied by the couple’s sole guest, Amanda’s brother, who also played guitar during the ceremony. After their wedding, ceremony in the lush garden setting of Ravello’s Belvedere Principessa di Piemonte, the couple strolled to Ravello’s square. Then, they shared a celebratory toast at one of the square’s charateristic bars.

From there they visited the charming Villa Rufolo gardens for photographs before travelling to nearby Amalfi. After further photographs around the atmospheric streets, the bride and groom left for a romantic wedding-day boat trip.

Ravello’s wedding between Marcia and Ryan was truly an international event! The American Marcia and the Scottish Ryan currently live in New Zealand. Thus, they decided to reunite their families and friends in Italy.

The closest and dearest have traveled from all over the world to the charming village of Ravello, on top of the mountain, for the special day.

Before the wedding, the bride and groom and their family got ready at Villa Dante in Ravello. The couple celebrated the religious wedding ceremony in the beautiful church of Santa Maria a Gradillo di Ravello and after the ceremony, the couple took their guests to the main square of Ravello, for outdoor aperitifs at Caffè Calce.

Marcia and Ryan took their guests along the cobbled paths up to the enchanting  Villa Eva  for their wedding reception. This villa is located almost at the top of Ravello, consequently it has a spectacular panoramic view, the villa in late liberty style, with a protracted harmonic outline has been redecorated with care and respect of the original style, it has been always an ideal location for ceremonies, banquets and exclusive meetings.

During the evening, fireworks at a party in the nearby village illuminated the sky with wonderful colors adding another unforgettable element to the magical wedding event of Marcia and Ryan.

Gabrielle and Case celebrated their elope wedding on the Amalfi Coast, in glamorous style. The couple had a whistlestop tour and photo shoot at some of the coast’s most pretty and picturesque seaside locations.

First, they stopped in the tiny seaside town of Atrani.

Atrani’s narrow alleys, squares, buildings and ‘scalinatelle’ (stairways), as well as its wonderful atmosphere, make it a truly unique experience.

Gabrielle and Case wandered up and down the town’s steep, whitewashed staircases, before walking through the pretty main square.

Then they visited the lovely the beach and jetty. The main square of this traditional fishing village leads directly to the beach via an antique passageway which was created to save boats from storms at sea.

Atrani is the smallest town on the Amalfi Coast and notably, is the only one to faithfully preserve its antique, traditional characteristics.

Then, the couple travelled to the nearby vibrant seaside town of Amalfi, surrounded by dramatic  cliffs and colourful, coastal scenery.

The elegant couple captured stunning sea views from the town’s port and promenade area before visiting the magnificent 11th Century Duomo di Amalfi. The cathedral dominates the town’s main square from atop a long staircase stretching up from Piazza Duomo.

Finally, the couple stopped in the pretty seaside town of Maiori, a popular tourist resort since Roman times. Maiori has the greatest unbroken stretch of beach on the Amalfi coastine.

The crystal clear water and expanse of sand and pebble beach make Maiori a favoured holiday destination. And also a very appealing photo location, as Gabrielle and Case’s pictures show!

British couple Connie and Daniel married on the Sorrento Peninsula, on a lovely late-May afternoon. Connie got ready for her wedding day, accompanied by her parents and bridesmaids, at the Grand Hotel Cocumella in Sant’Agnello near Sorrento. This luxury hotel is set in a beautiful ex-Monastery set in charming grounds. While Dan greeted guests at the ceremony venue, the bride and her dad travelled to the wedding ceremony in fabulous Italian-style, in a vintage white convertible FIAT 500.

The Ceremony

The couple’s wedding ceremony took place on the sea-view terrace of the Villa Fondi di Sangro in Piano di Sorrento. Villa Fondi is a historic villa with pretty gardens, which is perched on a balcony over the sea. The terrace has spectacular views across to the Bay of Naples. After the ceremony, before heading to their reception venue, Connie and Dan visited Sorrento’s characteristic Marina Grande for photographs. The little fishing port is one of the couple’s favourite settings in Sorrento. In fact, they stopped to visit – and share a celebratory toast – with the owner of their favourite local restaurant on the Marina, O’ Puledrone.

The Reception

When they arrived at their wedding reception venue, the wonderful Villa Antiche Mura, Connie and Dan joined their guests on the villa’s white terrace. The newly-weds and their guests enjoyed delicious nibbles and aperitifs as they enjoyed the breathtaking coastal  views. As an extra special treat, a traditional ice-cream cart offered delectable local gelato! Connie, Dan and their guests enjoed the delicious gala wedding dinner on the villa’s red terrace, while the sun set spectacularly over the sea.

After dinner and a selection of hilarious and emotional speeches, the couple cut their wedding cake. The cake eatured two wonderful cake toppers of the bride and groom, created by Connie’s mum. Connie and Dan cut their cake framed by the hearts and lanterns hanging prettily from the terrace’s trees.

There was a special surprise for the couple – in particular Dan – in the form of a congratulations letter from Arsène Wenger, the manager of Dan’s favourite football team, Arsenal. Dan was thrilled by the letter, which had been arranged months before by a close friend. The letter was in a red frame, of course! The letter was positioned in pride of place, on a second decorated table, close to the wedding cake! Connie and Dan and their guests sampled the delicious cake, before the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance. Afterward, the couple’s guests joined them on the dancefloor, for the remainder of the evening’s fun!

Sorrento Wedding Dream

 

Just when the collars of the day meet the blue of the sea.

Maggie and Kevin decided to have their “I do” in the beautiful Sorrento. Their fairy tale came to life thanks to the precious help of the talented wedding planner Cheryl Pagano who carefully fulfilled all their wishes.

But young and dynamic Maggie and Kevin wanted to give a touch of originality to their wedding look  and so  all the bridal and groom party combined their elegant clothes with a pair of white sneakers.

The real surprise was to see  sneakers appearing under the romantic dress of Maggie, customized to celebrate love. That allowed them to enjoy a comfortable walk among the narrow streets of Sorrento before reaching their guests, at Hotel Bellevue Syrene where, in a splendid setting and in a happy and familiar atmosphere, they were able to taste all the flavors of the Sorrento Coast.

Charming French couple Samantha and Mickael (Mika) celebrated their wedding weekend event at the fabulous Castello di Gabbiano in Tuscany.Gabbiano is a 14th Century castle in the countryside between Florence and Siena, with 100 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and grounds. Sam and Mika’s Gabbiano celebrations included a relaxed party the evening before the wedding and a fun post-wedding brunch.

On their wedding day, Sam, Mika and their attendants got ready in Gabbiano’s pretty Tuscan-style suites. Guests gathered for the ceremony in the main courtyard, framed by the spectacular countryside and below 12th Century belltower. Sam and Mika said ‘I do’ under a wrought iron gazebo embellished with white chiffon drapes and flowers.

After the ceremony, guests gathered for pre-dinner aperitifs on the main terrace, overlooking the beautiful countryside scattered with vineyards and olive groves. During aperitifs, Sam and Mika strolled through Gabbiano’s gardens and grounds, stopping for photographs in picturesque spots. Later, the couple and their guests enjoyed their wedding banquet in the castle’s elegant garden. Then, after the delicious dinner, featuring local delicacies and Gabbiano’s own prize-winning wines, Sam and Mika cut their wedding cake.

Everyone cheered and waved sparklers as the newlyweds cut the enormous Tuscan-style mille-feuille wedding cake. Then, guests sampled the delicious, fresh fruit and cream-filled cake before some incredibly fun, improvised dancing began.

Then, the wedding party moved indoors, to the one of Gabbiano’s elegant halls. Sam and Mika performed their first dance before being joined on the dancefloor by their families and friends.

Aubrey and Kyle eloped to the lush garden setting of the Belmond Hotel Caruso in romantic Ravello. The couple said ‘I do’ during a symbolic wedding ceremony in the hotel’s beautful Wagner Gardens.

Then, after their ceremony, the stylish couple wandered through the winding, characteristic streets of Ravello, to the main square. The newlyweds paused along the way, for photos in Ravello prettiest spots.

Later, Aubrey and Kyle returned to the Belmond Caruso’s flower-filled terraced gardens before visiting the hotel’s infinity pool. The pool appears to hover among the clouds, to spectacular effect, consequently it boasts breathtaking views of the coastline and sea.

The couple’s elegant and enchanting wedding celebrations ended with dinner on the atmospheric outdoor terrace of the hotel’s Belvedere Restaurant.

Vicky and Jamie celebrated their early-September wedding in Sorrento.

The couple married in a civil wedding ceremony at the charming San Francesco Cloisters in the heart of the town.

Before the ceremony, Vicky and Jamie arranged a romantic first look moment in the beautiful surroundings of the Bellevue Syrene hotel. This 5-star hotel which blends timeless elegance with modern chic also played host to the couple’s wedding reception celebrations.

After their ceremony, as Vicky and Jamie exited the Cloisters as husband and wife, they were showered with petal confetti by their family and friends.

Then Vicky and Jamie returned to the Cloisters for photographs alone together. Later, they strolled through the streets of the historic centre of Sorrento before joining their guests at the Bellevue Syrene.

The newlyweds hosted their reception party on the Villa Pompeiana terrace of the hotel. This immense, elegant, Roman-inspired terrace offers spectacular views across the sea to the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.

During an evening of fun, following a delicious dinner and emotional speeches, Vicky and Jamie cut their wedding cake. Then the bride and groom danced their first dance to open the after-party, after which guests joined them to dance the night away!

Nicole and Patrick married on the enchanting island of Capri. They first fell in love with Capri during a Mediterranean cruise, when Nicole and Pat agreed that a Capri wedding would be a dream come true experience.

However, they felt it was something far too glamorous for ‘normal people’ to do! Well, Nicole and Patrick’s dream did come true! They celebrated an intimate  and very glamorous  wedding event for their closest family and friends, at the Caesar Augustus Hotel.

Nicole and Pat married on the hotel’s infinity terrace, which sits 1000 metres above sea level. The ceremony area  was decorated with delicate floral arrangements in white and pale green and scatterings of rose petals. After the ceremony, guests admired the fabulous views as they enjoyed aperitifs.

Meanwhile, Nicole and Pat travelled to some of their favourite island spots, in a chic, vintage, red FIAT Cabriolet taxi. Nicole and Pat visited the bustling, colourful port of Marina Grande and walked through the charming streets of the little town of Capri to the Gardens of Augustus.

The terraced botanical gardens overlook the sea and offer an 180-degree panorama of the island, Mount Solaro, Marina Piccola, and the famous Faraglioni. Later, Nicole and Pat enjoyed a refreshing iced lemon granita drink and creamy lemon flavoured ice cream. Returning to the Caesar Augustus, Nicole and Pat visited the stunning seascape by the hotel’s pool, during the spectacular sunset.

The couple and their guests celebrated an intimate family dinner, after which Nicole and Pat cut their lemon-flavoured, lemon decorated wedding cake. While guests sampled the wedding cake and a wonderful buffet of cakes and delicacies, Nicole and Pat danced their first dance. Nicole and Pat’s wedding day dreams came true in a truly unforgettable and once in a lifetime event!

Brianna and Paul celebrated their wedding, with their closest family members and friends, in enchanting Positano.

The couple and their family members prepared for their wedding at a lovely private villa in the centre of town. Before their ceremony, the couple had a romantic first-look moment in front of the little church opposite their villa.

Then, Brianna and Paul wandered along the narrow, winding streets and staircases leading to the bustling beach-side.

After an enjoyable wander around some of positano’s most picturesque spots, the couple joined their guests for their symblic wedding ceremony at the Hotel Marincanto.
