Kelsey and Ian said ‘I do’ in the picture-perfect setting of Positano, on the Amalfi Coast.
The couple and their guests stayed at the friendly, boutique Hotel Bougainville in the centre of Positano. There, they spent a fun morning of primping and preparing, amid anticipation, laughter and prosecco toasts.
Kelsey and Ian married on the sea-view wedding terrace of the Hotel Marincanto, which has spectacular views of the enchanting town of Positano.
Two of Kelsey and Ian’s closest friends designed and delivered the couple’s sweet symbolic wedding ceremony. During the celebration, which included family member participation, there were lots of smiles and many happy tears.
Then, guests moved to the hotel’s Villa Incanto – a Pompeian-red villa, decorated with lemon trees and trailing bougainvillea. The villa’s charming, tiled terrace offers views across the sea, towards Positano and Praiano.
After a celebratory champagne toast, the wedding party enjoyed an array of delicious nibbles, during post-ceremony aperitifs. Later, as guests soaked up the views and atmosphere, Kelsey and Ian captured romantic photographs alone together around Positano.
Then, Kelsey and Ian rejoined their guests for the trip to the nearby mountain hamlet of Montepertuso for the wedding reception. There, they dined at a charming and characteristic, family-run restaurant, La Tagliata.
On arrival, guests sampled a delicious selection of finger foods, created using the freshest local ingredients grown in the restaurant’s gardens. Later, they moved to one of the restaurant’s fabulous terraces for emotional speeches and lots of laughter and fun, during a delightful dinner.
